HISTORY & BACKGROUND
Established in 2004, African Youth Development Fund (AYDF) has been committed to developing new ways to impact lives through training and development on the continent of Africa. African Youth Development Fund (AYDF) has worked on major national and international programmes with a focus on research, content design and development, training, program implementation, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation. The organization has also been working on various educational social programs with various government departments, private sector, global development agencies including the Department of Basic Education and Department of Social Development at National, Provincial, District and Local level.
Our business model is to design and implement programmes through other community organizations that are in the same space of development as AYDF. Over the years, we have trained and empowered other NPOs to have capacity and implement in their areas. This model seems to work well by helping us reach more targeted audience and have a desired impact in the effort to have a responsible society that cares for their environment, Receiving our accreditation through the CATHSSETA was one of the mile stones of the organization, which is a value add to the training presented to our clients.
